Staffing Update

Athletics Manitoba

Athletics Manitoba is sad to announce that Brooke-Lynn Boyd has decided to step down from her position as Development Manager. She will be moving on to a new opportunity as the new University of Manitoba Facilities Coordinator. Her last day with Athletics Manitoba will be Monday, July 31st.

Brooke-Lynn has been with Athletics Manitoba now for 5 going on 6 years. She started with us in the summer 2018 as a member of our summer staff, moved into the newly established role of Community Development Coordinator in 2021, and most recently, held the position of Development Manager.

We are so appreciative of everything she has contributed to the development of Athletics throughout the province. Her commitment to our partners, her enthusiasm, and passion for the sport of Athletics has been such an asset to our organization. She has been a wonderful colleague and it has been an absolute pleasure to work with her over the years.

While we are sad to see her go, we are also thankful she isn’t going far. Her role with the University of Manitoba will keep her in close contact with both our indoor and outdoor training facilities. We are delighted to know she will continue to care for and help manage our track and field spaces and we look forward to working together in this new capacity!

On behalf of our staff, coaches, officials and our Board of Directors, we would like to sincerely thank Brooke-Lynn for everything.

Please note that we plan to start the hiring process immediately, with the Development Manager job posting to be distributed by Monday, July 17th.
