Athletics Manitoba is delighted to announce the inaugural Provincial Trail Running Championships!
In partnership with the Manitoba Runners Association, we are pleased to welcome the Trails of ‘Toba Team to the fold as they host the first ever MB Provincial Trail Championship as part of the 2024 Suffer on Centennial race weekend.
Date: Saturday May 25th, 2024
Distance: 100km, 100km relay (2-6 runners), 50km, 25km, 8km
Location: Whiteshell Provincial Park 160km east of Winnipeg- Treaty No. 3 Land
All 4 routes have some wicked terrain to offer, over a combination of technical, rooty and wet boreal forest, exposed granite ridge-lines, some short punchy climbs and even a few scramble sections!
