Now Hiring – Camp Instructors for Run Jump Throw Wheel

Date: August 8-12, 2016
• 5 sessions (Monday-Friday)

Time: 8:30am-12:30pm (onsite includes set-up & take down)
• Camp runs 9am-12pm (delivery time)

Pay: $400 Honorarium – Full week of instruction (5 days)

Job Responsibilities:

The Run Jump Throw Wheel (RJTW) Camp Instructors will be responsible for the direct delivery of the RJTW Program to children/youth. Instructors will co-lead a group of up to 10 children, ages 5-10 years old through a warm-up, running, jumping, throwing & wheeling activities, games and skill challenges using the RJTW program lesson plans & equipment. Each day will finish with different sport, activity, or game such as soccer, flag football, handball etc.

Requirements and Preferred/Beneficial Skills:

1. Applicants must be Run Jump Throw Wheel trained or certified
2. Previous sport/recreation camp leader or experience in program delivery to children an asset
3. Experience in sport as a participant, organizer or event volunteer an asset
