Quest for Gold Prospective Athletes:
Please keep in mind that AO has changed some aspects of the Quest for Gold Program; some changes include:
- Committee is now a Board Committee with oversight from non-conflict members evaluating the criteria and qualified athletes to distribute Provincial Cards allocated by the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport (http://athleticsontario.ca/committees/)
- Sport Criteria was updated with input from AO Members and best practices adopted from other sports
- Forms and process to request and Exemption (Medical, Special Championship Request, Other) has been formalized with specified timelines and forms included in both the package and on website (to be emailed to questforgold@athleticsontario.ca)
