AO Accepting Awards Nominations Through October 1st, 2023!

Athletics Ontario is now accepting nominations for the 2023 Awards Gala Athletes of the Year. The 2023 nomination period will remain open through Sunday, October 1st, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. ET. This year’s Awards Gala & Hall of Fame Ceremony is taking place on Saturday, October 21st, 2023 at the beautiful Toronto Grand.

Athlete of the Year Awards will be presented to the top male and female athletes in each age group – U14, U16, U18, U20, Open, Para, and Masters.

All-Ontarian Awards willl be presented to the top athletes in their respective age, gender, and event disciplines. Unlike the traditional Athlete of the Year award, instead of selecting one winner, a “team” of athletes are to be named All-Ontarians for the year. All-Ontarians are selected based on their overall performance for the year and their participation and performance at National and International track meets.

The heart of the gala lies in its goal to raise funds to support and fuel the dreams of aspiring athletes, coaches, and officials. Excitement is building. Seats are limited.
