SCARBOROUGH, ONTARIO- Athletics Ontario (AO) is excited to call Variety Village their new home base; to celebrate, AO is hosting an open house ceremony Thursday, July 28, 2016, at 10:00 A.M. in the lobby. The ceremony will take place at Variety Village, located at 3701 Danforth Avenue, Scarborough, Ontario, M1N 2G2.

Variety Village is an inclusive, accessible community offering a variety of programming and services to persons of all abilities. Home to a state-of-the-art aquatics facility, multiple courts, a 200-meter indoor track and training facilities, Variety Village offers a unique venue for Athletics Ontario to host a variety of workshops and developmental opportunities for the community.

Athletics Ontario is the sport governing body for track and field in Ontario and is a branch of Athletics Canada. Athletics Ontario hosts track meets, championship events, and sponsors various programs for officials, coaches, and athletes at a range of levels, from beginners to Olympians. Athletics Ontario also runs volunteer and internship programs, as well as a brand ambassador program.
