Brittany Crew Sets New Record

Brittany Crew (SISU Throws Club) was up to her old ways this past weekend at the Penn State Tune Up in University Park, Pennsylvania. The 2016 Olympian set a new Canadian U24 indoor record in the shot put with a throw of 17.93m. The new throw bested her previous record of 17.91m, set earlier this month at the Akron Invitational. This now places her in 15th place on the IAAF standings and is only 8 cm off of the Canadian Indoor Shot Put record set 5 years ago by Julie Labonté.
