OT Fitness provides programs that promote health and physical literacy in elementary schools, assisting in core skills development of children and teens.

Desired applicants: Athletes and Fitness Instructors, Newly certified and retired teachers are encouraged to be a part of our team.

Qualifications:
Updated (Within 6 Months) Police Reference Check (PRC) from your local Police Service. Including persons of Vulnerable Sector (The Elderly, Children under 18 years, the disadvantaged)

  • Able to work with elementary school children (kindergarten to grade 8 from all fitness levels) in large groups
  • Available to work up to 5 days during the week between 8:30am and 3:30pm (Monday to Friday preferred)
  • Able to travel to different locations around the GTA, Peel and Mississauga.
  • Able to lift 20-30 pounds

OT Fitness is committed to continuing professional development and encourages staff with skills in areas of: Dance / Zumba / Yoga / Art / Poetry / Story Telling / Motivational speaking to introduce your skills.

Work description:
Unloading and setting up equipment, assist in organizing students into groups, motivating and participating in activities with students, cleaning of packing away of equipment.
