Toronto 2018: Track & Field in the 6ix is coming to Varsity Stadium from Aug. 10-12, and there are exciting volunteer opportunities available.
Athletics Canada, in partnership with Tourism Toronto, will welcome 30 countries from North America, Central America and the Caribbean, to compete for gold in 40 events.
As the international athletics community turns its eyes on Toronto, volunteers are essential to the success of the event and showcasing the culture, passion and people of the Greater Toronto Area.
Volunteers will gain an understanding of different functional areas in sport event management and receive first-hand experience in supporting a large-scale international athletics championship. Now is your chance to lend your skills to one of the world’s premier sporting events and contribute to the legacy of building a sport volunteer community that is trained, integrated and engaged.
In order to be a volunteer throughout the Championships, you must be 16 years of age or older as of Aug. 1, 2018.
