WEATHER ADVISORY:

Athletics Ontario, in accordance with the Windsor Athletics Club, is issuing a weather advisory for Saturday, July 21, 2018.

The current forecast shows potential for scattered, and sometimes contained, thunderstorms on Saturday. This weather may have an impact on the schedule of events for our U14, U16, U18 Championship. While we know that we advertise “rain or shine,” in the event of a thunderstorm, we will require that everyone respect the Emergency Action Plan that is in place with the Club, requiring suspension of play and cancellation of events. We will distribute communications to all stakeholders via email and will be posting continuous updates across all social media channels and our website. Please pay attention to the announcers over the P.A. system who will make announcements throughout the day should the weather become an issue.

All outdoor sport competitions that have been scheduled for Saturday may be impacted due to the incoming weather systems; we will monitor the situation and provide updates as they are available.

We will communicate to officials and volunteers within the venue who will be responsible for determining any suspension of play. These activities will be communicated across all Athletics Ontario social media and communications channels.

As always, you can find all important event information/updates, including the scheduled, technical package and performance list on our championship page.
